What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is an individualized, holistic approach to health that addresses the whole person using natural substances such as plants, animals, or minerals.  These substances in homeopathic form are called remedies.  The homeopathic remedy selected corresponds to the whole person.

Homeopathy was founded by the brilliant physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann and is a 200-year-old approach to wellness.  Homeopathy operates under the philosophy that a substance which causes certain symptoms in a healthy person will be curative in the sick. Homeopathic remedies are safe, do not produce side effects, may be taken with allopathic medications, and are less expensive that pharmaceuticals.  Homeopathy is not a “this for that” approach as in conventional medicine but a natural modality that corresponds to the whole person through an individualized, comprehensive evaluation process.  Two persons suffering from similar ailments may be given different remedies as homeopathy fine tunes the response to the unique complexities of each person. Homeopathy may be used on any living being; humans, dogs, cats, horses, and other animals and even plants can all benefit.   For more information, please check out the free online book entitled “Beyond Flat Earth Medicine” by Dr. Dooley.
